Throwback to "Summer Nights" because who doesn't love themselves some Grease?! With summer here, it's the perfect way to kick off the fun summer nights!
What's there to do on summer nights? If you live in Southern California like me, many prefer to go out later in the evening when it starts to cool off a little. Night times are much more enjoyable. Here are a few ideas:
Visit a Botanical Garden or Go For A Nature Walk
There are many botanical gardens everywhere that you can find. Many universities even
have their own beautiful botanical garden. If you can't find one, go for a nature walk at a
nearby park.
Park Movie Nights
Many local parks offer movie nights, and concert nights. You can take the family and a
picnic dinner and enjoy the evening outside!
Fishing:
Mojave Narrows Regional Park

* Stocked with Rainbow Trout
Diamond Valley Lake

Swimming
Best way to cool off is to jump into some refreshing water! If the heat and sun rays are
too much, there are many indoor parks with pools that you can go to for a small price of
about $5. Swimming is relaxing, refreshing, and easy on the joints!
Be creative! Go fly a kite, bird watching, learn a new skill or game, visit a relative, and enjoy your summer!
